AHSA believes in biologically sound management of our wild natural resources and in the respectful use and enjoyment of the land. We believe responsible and ethical actions are the duty of all hunters and shooters who use the outdoors.
Our environment depends upon hunters and shooters understanding their contribution to the maintenance of a healthy, productive environment. AHSA believes hunters and shooters should always leave both public and private land in better condition than they found it. By setting an example we can protect the natural environment for future generations to enjoy.
Sound conservation policies assure quality hunting and shooting opportunities for future generations. Our outdoor hunting heritage will be preserved through the managed use of our wildlife and other natural resources.
Hunting is a natural, beneficial and enjoyable use of our renewable wildlife resources. It is an American tradition to be passed on to future generations. Promote our hunting heritage by sharing it with all who wish to take part.
Outreach is necessary to make a real and lasting difference in conservation policy. Strong alliances are the key. AHSA will join with other individuals, clubs, conservation organizations, and government agencies to ensure the success of reasonable and sound wildlife and conservation programs.
